Mara — Let's lock the sidebar behavior today. The contextual switch felt right in testing.

You — Agreed. I'll write it up and send the spec to the team by Thursday.

Mara — Perfect. Can you double-check the merge-speakers flow before we cut tickets?

One click in the menu bar. Both sides of the call.

Mic and system audio on separate tracks, captured at the OS level — Zoom, Meet, Teams, phone, or a room. No bot ever joins your call, and a consent notice keeps you honest.

Confirm transcript
Waiting for review

You confirm once. Everything downstream is right.

Whisper runs on your chip — offline is fine. You fix speaker names with calendar suggestions, then confirm. Only confirmed transcripts get summarized, indexed, and mined for todos. Garbage never gets in.

Complete — and useful

Ask anything. Get the minute it was said.

Chat across every confirmed meeting. Answers cite meeting and timestamp; click to replay the audio. Todos write themselves and check themselves off. Every person gets a page. The model can run on your Mac via Ollama or MLX — zero bytes leave the machine.

What did Mara and I decide about onboarding?
Cut the tour to three steps, ship behind a flag. Mara owns copy; you send the spec Thursday.

horcht.

horch! is German — an old word for hark! listen! — and horcht means it listens. That's the whole product: it listens on your Mac, remembers what was said, and keeps every word to itself. Built in Austria, where we take that last part personally.

It's files — so it's also a CLI.

Everything lives as Markdown in ~/Meetings, and the horch command ships with the app. Script it into any workflow.

$ horch ask "what do I owe Jonas?"
$ horch todos --open --json
$ horch record --title "1:1"
iPhone gets a window. The brain stays home.

The free Companion shows your digest and todos and captures thoughts — synced over your own iCloud. Recordings and transcripts never leave the Mac.
