Before you buy: the free trial
Every download is a full-featured 30-day trial. No account, no credit card, no email address. Record real meetings with it, and only buy a license once you know horch works for you. That is the first and best refund policy: not needing one.
After you buy: 30 days, no questions asked
If you buy a license and change your mind, you can have your money back within 30 days of the purchase. You do not have to explain why. We will not ask you to justify it, complete a survey, or talk to anyone first.
The same applies to a renewal: 30 days from the day the renewal was charged.
How to request one
Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or quote your order number or license id, whichever is easier. One line is enough: "please refund my horch license".
We acknowledge refund requests as quickly as we can and start the refund the same day where possible.
How the money comes back
Paddle.com Market Ltd is our merchant of record: it sold you the license, took the payment, and issues the refund. Once we approve the request, Paddle returns the amount to the payment method you used. How long it then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer, usually a few business days.
You can also raise a refund with Paddle directly, using the receipt email it sent you. Either route works; ours is the faster one to a yes.
What a refund does to your license
A refunded license is revoked. The app returns to its locked state on the Macs where it was activated, as it would at the end of a trial.
Your files are not touched. Recordings, transcripts, summaries, notes, and todos live on your own Mac as ordinary files and stay exactly where they are, readable without horch. We hold nothing back and nothing to ransom.
After the 30 days
Beyond the 30-day window we do not routinely refund: the trial and the guarantee together give you two months to decide. If something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us anyway. We would rather fix it or refund it than have an unhappy customer.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is voluntary and comes on top of the rights you have by law. Nothing here limits any statutory right of withdrawal or warranty claim you may have as a consumer under EU or Austrian law; a statutory withdrawal is handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd as the seller of record, and you can raise it with us and we will pass it on. See the Terms of Service for the detail.
Chargebacks
Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback revokes the license automatically and costs us a fee, and it is slower for you than simply asking us for the refund, which we will give you.
